Shopping Tips
Parking and Admission is FREE: We encourage all shoppers to bring 1 non-perishable healthy snack to benefit various Long Island charities. Your healthy snacks will go directly to school age children during their school vacation weeks & summer recess when they are unable to receive free or reduced price food from school.
Bringing Children: We understand that your children are the reason you come to these events. Just keep in mind a few things...
If you decide to bring the little ones, please consider that we are responsible for Consignor' items (such as a plethora of toys and other fun things). We encourage you to use your best judgement as to whether or not they will be able to handle the temptations that will be all around them.
At times, the sale may also be crowded with not a lot of room to navigate your stroller. It may be a good idea to think about asking Dad for a few hours reprieve while you grab your best girlfriend and run like heck!
Checkout: ChickenKidz uses an automated barcoding system which allows our computers to operate much the same way as a cash register. When you bring your items to the register, we will scan your items and bag them (with the hangers) to get you in and out quick.
Return Policy: ChickenKidz has a no refunds policy. All items are inspected upon check-in for quality and cleanliness. Toys and baby gear such as swings and bouncers must have batteries to ensure they are in working condition. During the event, sales floor staff will remove poor quality items from the sales floor that may have been missed during check-in.
But ultimately, it is the buyer's responsibility to do a final inspection before purchasing.
Security: We take theft seriously
We have security and plain clothes personnel monitoring the sales floor at all times to prevent shoplifting.
No outside bags will be permitted into the sale and strollers will be tagged and checked at our discretion.
All violators will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
In addition... unruly children will be captured and sold to the circus. 😉
